The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) supports solving global problems by offering different opportunities for students and researchers from developing countries such as Egypt. Renewable energy is one of the main areas of focus therefore the scientific progress in wind power, solar energy and hydropower is paid special attention to. Young talents who are interested in a university degree in renewable energy can be funded for postgraduate courses. Numerous programmes permit researchers and alumni to visit Germany for short-term or extended research visits and offer the financial support to joint research projects between Germans and Egyptians. By participating at WWEC 2011, DAAD aims to reach out to scientists, researchers, developers and the industry in order to promote Study & Research opportunities in Germany. German experts will present Germany’s excellent know-how by introducing newest achievements of research and the country’s best research institutions. In a second session DAAD will present funding opportunities for international students and researches in the field of renewable energy who are aiming to increase their knowledge abroad in order to meet the demands that exist in their own country. Therefore DAAD will organize two sessions of 1, 5 hours on two different days of the conference as well as present study and research opportunities at an information booth. Please be informed that you need to register for the conference on the day of the DAAD session. Please find attached the programme.
