| The Elections Committee has released the procedures and rules to be followed in the elections of the Faculty of Engineering’s vice-deans. Each elector will vote for only one candidate. Ballot will be on Sunday 20 November 2011. Earlier this week, six candidates have submitted their applications to run for two vacant positions, namely vice-dean for Community Service and Environment Development and vice-dean for Education and Students’ Affairs. Candidates are: -Prof. Ayman Mohammad Ismael, Professor of Architectural Engineering -Prof. Sameh Ahmed Galal, Professor of Civil Engineering -Prof. Mohammad Shokr Nada, Professor of Architectural Engineering -Prof. Mohammad Issa Sayed Ahmed, Professor of Engineering Mathematics and Physics -Prof. Mustafa Amin Abo Hashima, Professor of Civil Engineering -Prof. Mona Hassan Soliman, Professor of Architectural Engineering It is worth mentioning that the Elections Committee consists of Prof. Ramy Mohammad Talaat, Prof. Magdy Oteiba, Dr. Ashraf Abdel-Halim, and Dr. Maged Kasab. |
