   Within the frame of the Cultural Season of the academic year 2009/2010, the Department of Youth Care organized the 2nd Cultural Arts Festival. The festival ran form 11/11/2009 through 22/11/2009.

The festival's activities started with holding a number of competitions: calligraphy and designing wall magazines as cultural activities and chalk drawings on asphalt as an artistic activity, in the presence of a group of professors specialized in the arts to assess the students' works.

In a related activity, the first issue of Competition (Sunrise/Ashraqa), a cultural competition on the occasion of October victories, was released. Also, the University participated in the Arab Council for Training University Students, in which Student / Basma Abdel-Latif came third and Student / Massoud Hamid came fifth.

Moreover, the first issue of Competition (art and caricature and the best photographs) was released. Furthermore, a contest in playing instruments, singing and sketching was held during the period from October 27 to November 2, 2009. On the other hand, the University Chorus is being trained for the inauguration ceremony of the newly-elected Fayoum University's Student Union, to be held during the current month.
