  The Fayoum University Sports Department recently organized a sports festival on the beach of Lake Qarun where a big number of students took part. The event was held on Wednesday 18/4/2007.
The participating faculties in the festival included Faculty of Education, Faculty of Social Work, Faculty of Dar Al Uloom, Faculty of Specific Education, Faculty of Arts, Institute of Nursing, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Faculty of Computers and Information, and Faculty of Early Childhood Education.
The event featured the following games: beach soccer for men, beach volleyball for men and beach volleyball for women.
The results came as follows:

 At the end of the day, the top three winners were given trophies.
