Chaired by President Abdel Hamid Abdel TawabSabry, the meeting No. 95 of the University Council was held on May 21st, 2014 in the University Council Room. The meeting took the following actions:

The University Council resolved to approve the minutes of the meeting of Council held on 30/4/2014 as a true and correct record.

The University Council approved awarding the following students master's degrees:
-Hala Mohamed Abdel Raoef Mohamed, Faculty of Arts;
-Abdullah Melad Abdel Sadek Abdel Aziz, Faculty of Arts;
-Ramadan Mosbah Abdel Kaway, Faculty of Education;
-Doaa Mounir Saad Morad, Faculty of Social Work;
-Asmaa Sobhy Ibrahim, Faculty of Social Work;
-Shaimaa Mohamed Mohamed Ali, Faculty of Social Work;
-Asmaa Ahmed Adway Ahmed, Faculty of Science;
-Dawlat Azz Eldin Shokry Mohamed, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels;
-Ahmed Ghaith Abdel Halim Abdel Fattah Ghaith, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels; and

The University Council approved awarding the following students PhD degrees:
-Mayada Mosaad Gharib Ahmed, Faculty of Science;
-Magda El Sayed El Sayed Abdel Gawad, Faculty of Science.

The University Council resolved to:
- approve the cooperation agreement signed between Fayoum University and Yarmouk University, Jordan;
- approve the cooperation agreement signed between the Faculty of Archaeology's Center of Research and Conservation of Antiquities (C.R.C.A.) and the Egyptian Archaeologists' Union.
-approve the cooperation agreement between the Faculty of Archaeology and Egypt Exploration Society.

Appointments & Promotions
* The University Council resolved to appoint Dr. Fatma Nabil Kamal Mohamed, assistant lecturer, Department of Home Economics, Faculty of Specific Education, as a lecturer.

* The University Council resolved to appoint Dr. Shabaan Saad Ahmed Saad, assistant lecturer, Department of Poultry Science, Faculty of Agriculture, as a lecturer.

* The University Council resolved to appoint Dr. Rania Abdel Aziz Mahmoud, assistant lecturer, Department of Archaeology, Faculty of Archaeology, as a lecturer.

* The University Council resolved to appoint Dr. Emad Abdel Azim Ashour, assistant lecturer, Department of History, Faculty of Arts, as a lecturer.

* The University Council resolved to appoint Dr. Shaimaa Ahmed Magdy, lecturer, Department of Architectural Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, as an assistant professor.

* The University Council resolved to appoint Dr. Amir Saleh Ahmed, lecturer, Department of Architectural Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, as an assistant professor.

* The University Council resolved to appoint Dr. Walid Abdel Magid Ahmed, lecturer, Department of Mathematics and Engineering Physics, Faculty of Engineering, as an assistant professor.

* The University Council resolved to appoint Dr. Hanaa Hassan Mahmoud, lecturer, Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, as an assistant professor.

* The University Council resolved to appoint Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Said Abdel Naby, assistant professor, Department of Agricultural Economics, Faculty of Agriculture, as an assistant professor.

* The University Council resolved to appoint Dr. Hanan Abdullah Hassan Mohamed, assistant professor, Department of Poultry Science, Faculty of Agriculture, as a professor.

* The University Council resolved to appoint Dr. Ebtsam Mohamed Mohamed Abdella, assistant professor, Department of Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture, as a professor.

* The University Council resolved to appoint Dr. Wael Mahmoud Aziz Yasin, assistant professor, Department of Hotel Studies, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, as a professor.

* The University Council resolved to appoint Dr. Essam Ali Hassan, as a lecturer at the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine.

* The University Council resolved to appoint Dr. Ahmed Abdel Kaway Hamad, and Dr. Eman Mahmoud Ezzat, as lecturers at the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine.

Education and Students' Affairs
* The University Council resolved to approve the proposed internal bylaw of the undergraduate stage of the Faculty of Engineering.

* The University Council resolved to approve merging the two nursing groups into two groups (effective from the coming academic year 2014/2015 onwards).

* The University Council resolved to make the MIS Project be tasked with issuing and printing University ID cards for faculty members, staff, and students.

Donations & Contributions
*The University Council resolved to accept the donation made by Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Saad, an associate professor at the Department of Radiology, Faculty of Medicine, who donated a sum of LE 20.000 for the New Hospital Mosque.
