In its meeting No. 55 dated 27/10/2010, Fayoum University Council, chaired by Professor Ahmed El Gohary, President of Fayoum University, approved
-the Cooperation Protocol signed between Fayoum University and Life without Smoking Association -Hyah Bela Tadkhen;

-transferring Dr. Nahed Kheiry, Lecturer of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, to the same post at the Fayoum University Faculty of Medicine;

- students of Faculty of Nursing must pay a sum of EGP 50 against personal test and a sum of EGP 50 against field training and scientific trips;

-the proposal submitted by Board of Education and Students' Affairs in its meeting on 20/10/2011 regarding the benchmarks for assessment of students' class work and participation;

-exempting blind postgraduates from obtaining the ICDL;

-creating a group in each faculty under the slogan "Life without Smoking", and to be managed from within the Community Service and Environment Development Sector;

-the proposal submitted by the Board of Faculty of Social Work dated 19/9/2010 regarding the following members to the Faculty of Agriculture Board for the academic year 2010/2011:
*Prof. Abdul Aziz Abdullah Mokhtar, part-time professor of Development and Planning
*Prof. Awny Mahmoud Tawfik, full-time professor of Methods of Social Work
*Prof. Salem Sadik Ahmed Badr, full-time professor of Methods of Social Work
*Prof. Mustafa Mohammad Al Husseiny Al-Nagar, full-time professor of Methods of Social Work

-the proposal submitted by the Board of Faculty of Science dated 13/10/2010 regarding the following members to the Board of Faculty of Science for the academic year 2010/2011:

*Prof. Gamal Sobhy Said, part-time professor of Physics
*Prof. Ahmed Yusuf Al Qadi, professor of Chemistry
*Prof. Abdul Naby Ibrahim Eissawy, part-time professor of Chemistry

-the proposal submitted by the Board of Faculty of Specific Education dated 12/10/2010 regarding the following members to the Board of Faculty of Specific Education for the academic year 2010/2011:

*Director of Social Fund for Development, Fayoum
*Chief Executive Officer of the Small Enterprises & Community Development Association


*The Fayoum University Council approves promoting Dr. Sameh Ahmed Galal, assistant professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, to the rank of Professor.

*The Fayoum University Council approves granting the academic title of Professor to Dr. Soliman Awad Mahmoud, assistant professor, Department of Electric Engineering, Faculty of Engineering.

*The Fayoum University Council approves granting the academic title of Professor to Dr. Mustafa Amin Hassanien, assistant professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering.

*The Fayoum University Council approves granting the academic title of Assistant Professor to Dr. Walid Ismael Abdul Rahman, lecturer, Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering.

**The Fayoum University Council approves promoting Dr. Ahmed Ahmed Abdul Maksoud, assistant lecturer, Department of Arabic Language and Literature, Faculty of Arts, to the rank of Lecturer.

**The Fayoum University Council approves promoting Dr. Noheer Ramadan Abdul Hamid, assistant lecturer, Department of Art Education, Faculty of Specific Education, to the rank of Lecturer.

*The Fayoum University Council approves accepting the donations offered by:
-President Ahmed El Gohary in the form of a sum of EGP 2000 for the Fayoum University Fund for Students' Welfare;

-Professor Huda Latif, dean, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels in the form of EGP 1775 for the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels;

-Professor Abd El Halim Nur El Din, professor of Egyptology, Faculty of Archaeology, Cairo University, in the form of a collection of his works to the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels Library;
- Mr. Tarek Sayed Al Sawah, employee at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, in the form of a Guiding Sign bearing Hotel of Faculty of Tourism and Hotels.

-Banque Misr in the form of EGP 150000 for the university;

-Counselor Mohammad Mahmoud Soltan, member of the Board of Faculty of Dar Al Uloom, and Chief Executive Officer of Al Moalemeen Mosque, in the form of EGP 2000 for the Faculty of Dar Al Uloom.

-Dr. Rezk Yousef Ali Al Shamy, director, Quality Assurance Unit (QAU), Faculty of Dar Al Uloom, in the form of EGP 1000 for the Faculty of Dar Al Uloom.
