The Fayoum University Council, chaired by Professor Magdy Tawfik Hanna, Interim President of Fayoum University, took the following actions at their meeting No. 65 dated 31/10/2011:
-The Council reviewed the September Meeting Minute No. 64 dated 28/9/2011 with adopting the following amendments:

1- After revisiting the Decree No. 41 regarding Mustafa Mahmoud Amin, a fourth year student at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, the decree will be: approving the result of remarking the exam sheet of Tourist Transportation Course, which the student studied in the third year, in accordance with the report of Remarking Committee along with a statement as well as a graduation decision.

Promotions
*The Fayoum University Council approved promoting Dr. Rezk Yousef Al-Shamy, associate professor, Department of Islamic Philosophy, Faculty of Dar Al Uloom, to the position of Professor.

* The Fayoum University Council approved promoting Dr. Anas Abdel-Latif Ahmed Wahdan, assistant professor, Department of Water and Soil Science, Faculty of Agriculture, to the position of Professor.

* The Fayoum University Council approved promoting Dr. Nadia Helal Yahia Helal, assistant professor, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, to the position of Professor.

* The Fayoum University Council approved promoting Dr. Nemaat Ali Hassan, assistant professor, Department of Dairy Science, Faculty of Agriculture, to the position of Professor.

* The Fayoum University Council approved promoting Dr. Manal Abu El-Kasem Mohammad Hussein, lecturer, Department of Egyptology, Faculty of Archaeology, to the position of Assistant Professor.

* The Fayoum University Council approved promoting Dr. Wael Mohammad El Sayed Ibrahim, lecturer, Department of Botany, Faculty of Science, to the position of Assistant Professor.

* The Fayoum University Council approved promoting Dr. Sayed Mahmoud Mohammad Abdel-Al, lecturer, Department of History, Faculty of Arts, to the position of Assistant Professor.

* The Fayoum University Council approved promoting Dr. Ibrahim Gamil Mohammad Ibrahim, lecturer, Department of Grammar and Prosody, Faculty of Dar Al Uloom, the academic title of Professor.

* The Fayoum University Council approved promoting Dr. Essam El-din Gad Al-Rab Ahmed, lecturer, Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, to the position of Assistant Professor.

* The Fayoum University Council approved granting Dr. Abdel Rahman Mohammad Abdel Rahman Al Srougy, lecturer, Department of Restoration, Faculty of Archaeology, the academic tile of Assistant Professor.

* The Fayoum University Council approved granting Dr. Mohammad Amin Ali Ali, lecturer, Department of Chest Diseases, Faculty of Medicinethe academic title of Assistant Professor.

* The Fayoum University Council approved promoting Dr. Ahmed Obeed Ali Hamed, assistant lecturer, Department of Tourist Guidance, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, to the position of Lecturer.

Contributions and Donations


-The Fayoum University Council accepted the donation offered by Ibrahim Abdel Basset, Lecturer of Tourist Guidance at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, in the form of 32 unoriginal monuments which are worth EGP 3370, to the Teaching Museum of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels.

-The Fayoum University Council accepted the donation offered by Dr. Ahmed Farouk Mohammad, Department of Fields of Social Work, in the form of three racing bikes which are worth EGP 1700 for the ideal students in the field training at the Faculty of Social Work.
