 In its session no. 24 dated November 2007, Fayoum University council presided over by Prof. Dr. Gala M. Said, president of Fayoum University, approved of :
1- Congratulation to Prof. Dr. Abdel-Hamid Abdel-Tawab Sabry on his appointment as vice-president for social service for 4 years
2- Agreement upon nominating Prof. Dr. Saad Nassar, former governor, consultant of Minister of Agriculture for Mubarak Award for Science
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Hamid Kishik, former dean of Faculty of Arabic and Islamic Studies for State Merit Award for Arts
Prof. Dr. Mohammad Abdel-Rahman El-Sharnobi, former dean of Faculty of Education for State Merit Award for Social Sciences
Prof. Dr. Heussin Ibrahim, professor in Faculty of Engineering for State Merit Award for Engineering Sciences
and Prof. Dr. Adel Farid, dean of Faculty of Archeology for State Distinction Award for Arts
3- Agreement upon beginning of practical and late exams in the period from December 24, 2007 to January 3, 2008. The final exams will start on January 5 to January 24, 2007. Christmas and beginning of the new Islamic year are vacation
