In its meeting No. 47 dated 30/12/2009, Fayoum University Council, chaired by Professor Ahmed El-Gohary, President of Fayoum University, has approved:

*setting up a centre for supporting ways of cooperation with the Nile Basin countries, which will have the authority to grant academic degrees and will encourage conducting studies related to the region for its development.

*constituting a committee presided over by Prof. Mohammad Ibrahim El-Khaleely Barakat, vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Research and the membership of:

-Prof. Abdel-Hamid Abdel-Tawab, vice-president for Community Service and Environmental Development

-Prof. Nabil Yasin, dean of Faculty of Science

-Prof. Ahmed Al-Shiewy, dean of Agriculture

-Prof. Mohammad Abdel-Rahman Al-Sharnouby, full-time professor at Faculty of Arts

 -Mr. Saleh Gomaa, Fayoum University Secretary-General

* assigning the task of suggesting and preparing the center programs as well as the bye-laws of each program to the Board of Postgraduate Studies and Research.

* transferring Dr. Ragab Ali Shabaan, associate professor, Department of Mental Health at Faculty of Education, to the same post at the Department of Mental Health at Faculty of Early Childhood Education.

*transferring Dr. Zainab Shehata Mohammad Amar – assistant professor at Department of Home Economics at Faculty of Specific Education to the same post at Department of Home Economics at Faculty of Education, Suez Canal University without her financial category.

*transferring Dr. Nader Said Ali, assistant professor at Department of Instruction Technology, Faculty of Specific Education, to the same post at Department of Instruction Technology, Institute of Educational Studies, Cairo University, without his financial category.

*seconding of Dr. Soad Mohammad Abdel-Ghany, assistant professor at Department of Psychology, Faculty of Education, to Umm Al-Qura University, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for the fifth academic year 2009/2010.

*typing and printing the exams and handing them to the Control Room before the exams; a copy of each exam must be sent to the Offices of the University President and the Vice-President accompanied with a daily report on the exams.
