In its meeting No. 60 dated 20/4/2011, the Fayoum University Council, chaired by Professor Ahmed El-Gohary, President of Fayoum University, has approved the following decisions:

*Promoting Dr. Nasser Ewis Abdul Tawab Gad, associate professor at Department of Fields of Social Work, Faculty of Social Work, to the rank of Professor.

*Promoting Dr. Fathia Korny Mohammad Taher, associate professor at Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, to the rank of Professor.

*Promoting Dr. Naglaa El Sayed Refaat Ismael, associate professor at Department of Zoology, Faculty of Science, to the rank of Professor.  

*Promoting Dr. Mona Hassan Soliman, associate professor at Department of Architectural Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, to the rank of Professor.

*Promoting Dr. Ekram Ali Megawer Kasem, associate professor at Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture, to the rank of Professor.

*Promoting Dr. Khaled Abdul Rahman Yousef El Bana, assistant professor at Department of Agricultural Microbiology, Faculty of Agriculture, to the rank of Associate Professor.

*Promoting Dr. Gamal Mohammadain Hassan Sahl, assistant professor at Department of Genetics, Faculty of Agriculture, to the rank of Associate Professor.

*Promoting Dr. Adel Amin Hafez, assistant professor at Department of Islamic Philosophy, Faculty of Dar Al Uloom, to the rank of Associate Professor.

*Promoting Dr. Sayed Mohammad Abdul Aziz, assistant professor at Department of Geology, Faculty of Science, to the rank of Associate Professor.

*Promoting Dr. Ahmed Ali Ibrahim, assistant lecturer at Department of Curriculum and Methodology, Faculty of Education, to the rank of Lecturer.

*Promoting Dr. Mohammad Abdullah El Sayed, assistant lecturer at Department of Islamic Archaeology, Faculty of Archaeology, to the rank of Lecturer.

*Promoting Dr. Adel Abdul Razek Abdul Azim, assistant lecturer at Department of Food Science and Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, to the rank of Lecturer.

*Promoting Dr. Madiha Hamdy Abdul-Al, assistant lecturer at Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Arts, to the rank of Lecturer.

*Promoting Dr. Taroub Abdul-Naby Abdul-Baset, assistant lecturer at Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, to the rank of Lecturer.  

*Promoting Dr. Abdullah Ibrahim Yousef, assistant lecturer at Department of Curriculum and Methodology, Faculty of Education, to the rank of Lecturer.

Moreover, the Fayoum University Council has approved transferring Dr. Nana Al-Dawy Ahmed, lecturer at Department of Basic Sciences, Faculty of Early Childhood Education, to the same post at Department of Curriculum and Methodology, Faculty of Physical Education, Helwan University.

*The Fayoum University Council has approved granting the following researchers their master's degrees:

-Ghada El Sayed Mohammad El Sayed, Faculty of Dar Al Uloom

-Asmaa Hanfy Mahmoud Tolba, Faculty of Dar Al Uloom

-Eman Al-Husseiny Attia El-Husseiny, Faculty of Social Work

-Shiamaa Ramadan Ali Hamdallah, Faculty of Social Work

-Emad Mahmrous Abdul-Malak Ghaly, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels

-Asmaa Abdul-Raof Khalef, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels

*The Fayoum University Council has approved granting the following researchers their doctoral degrees:

-Basem Bakry Ibrahim Bakry, Faculty of Social Work

-Ibrahim Abdul Baset Ahmed Ibrahim, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels

-Taroub Abdul Naby Abdul Baset Mohammad, Faculty of Science

-Soliman Omr Ahmed Galal, Faculty of Agriculture

-Abdullah Ibrahim Yousef Abdul-Magid, Faculty of Education

The Fayoum University Council has also approved accepting the donations offered by:

Professor Ahmed El Gohary, President of Fayoum University, who made an EGP 2000 contribution for the Fayoum University Fund for Students' Welfare.

Professor Mahmoud Hewidy who contributed a package of 181 books for the Library of the Faulty of Tourism and Hotels;

Professor Huda Lotaif who contributed a series of things including:

-A keyboard which is worth EGP 500

-Two tableaus embroidered with Indian themes; they are worth EGP 2200

- A 40x75 cm tableau representing the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, which is worth EGP 3000

-A 75x108 cm tableau, which is worth EGP 5000, representing the seat of one of the medieval Muslim Sultans for the Educational Museum based at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels.
