In its meeting No. 61 dated 25/5/2011, the
Fayoum University Council chaired by Professor Ahmed Magdy El-Gohary, President
of Fayoum University, approved announcing vacancies for the staff at the
Faculties of Arts and Computers and Information. Applicants must meet the
following eligibility criteria:
First: The applicant must satisfy
the legal conditions stipulated in University Regulation Law No. 49 of 1972 and
its amendments.
Second: Appointment can be made
either through transfer or announcement.
Third: Age limits are: For
Professor Position, an applicant must be less than 50 years of age; for
Associate Professor Position, an applicant must be less than 47 years of age;
for Lecturer Position, an applicant must be less than 42 years of age.
All applicants are to be submitted at the faculties within
fifteen days' time from publishing this announcement.
* The Fayoum University Council also approved accepting the
excuse submitted by Professor Khalil Abdul-al Khalil, regarding his inability to
supervise the examinations of the third class as his daughter is enrolled on
this class. Accordingly, Professor Rabie Abdul Aziz, Vice-Dean of Faculty of Dar
Al Uloom for Education and Students' Affairs, will take his place.
Rules for regulating invigilation inside
exam halls:
* Each class is divided into groups; each group consists of 25
examinees.
*No cohort must be less than 25 examinees except for the last
one.
*Two (2) teaching staff members or assistants are in charge of
invigilation for each group consisting of 25 examinees.
*A reward is allocated per invigilation as follows:
*EGP 40 a time for each teaching assistant per invigilation.
*EGP 60 a time for each teaching staff member per invigilation.
*Invigilation work is optional for the faculty from outside.
However, the faculty who seek to invigilation outside their faculties should
apply in writing to their Dean so as to inform the University Council with their
names.
*The Fayoum University Council also endorsed the result of the
Sixth Class of the Faculty of Medicine who gave in requests to re-score their
examination papers in Internal Medicine Course.
* The Fayoum University Council also approved that July 1 is
scheduled to start the activities of the Summer Club, the GYM Hall and the
Swimming Pool.
* The Fayoum University Council also endorsed the Basic
Regulations of the Development Research and Consultation Center (DRCC) along
with applying the financial regulations governing the special units at the
university.
* The Fayoum University Council also endorsed the proposals
mooted to implement the literacy project in coordination with the Fayoum
Literacy Authority. In addition, new rules have been added including:
-The target group ranges from 15 to 35 years of age.
-A timescale must be defined for carrying out the project.
-Students engaged in this activity must be rewarded.
- Students engaged in this activity must be given the
opportunity of setting up small scale projects.
*The Fayoum University Council also approved reappointing Prof.
Amr Al-Demardash Mohammad Moawed, Department of Dairy Science, Faculty of
Agriculture, as Professor Emeritus.
* The Fayoum University Council also approved promoting Dr.
Mohammad Abdul-Karim Abdul-Hamid, Department of Engineering Physics and
Mathematics, to the rank of Professor.
* The Fayoum University Council also approved promoting Dr.
Mohammad Abdul-Latif Mahmoud, Department of Radiology, Faculty of Medicine,
to the rank of Professor.
* The Fayoum University Council also approved promoting Dr.
Abdul-Bary Mohammad Al-Taher, Department of Islamic History, Faculty of Dar Al
Uloom, to the rank of Professor.
* The Fayoum University Council also approved promoting Dr.
Walid Said Essa Ali, Department of Rhetoric and Criticism, Faculty of Dar Al
Uloom, to the rank of Associate Professor.
* The Fayoum University Council also approved promoting Dr.
Hassan Ahmed Abdul-Razek Al-Sameen, Department of Islamic History, Faculty of
Dar Al Uloom, to the rank of Associate Professor.
*The Fayoum University Council also approved promoting Dr. Azza
Mohammad Al-Amir, Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine,
to the rank of Lecturer.
* The Fayoum University Council also approved promoting Dr.
Ghada Morshed Ahmed, Department of General Surgery, Faculty of Medicine,
to the rank of Lecturer.
* The Fayoum University Council also approved promoting Dr.
Basem Bakry Ibrahim Bakry, Department of Methods of Social Work, Faculty of
Social Work, to the rank of lecturer.
* The Fayoum University Council also approved promoting Dr.
Ibrahim Abdul-Baset Ahmed, Department of Tourist Guidance, Faculty of Tourism
and Hotels, to the rank of Lecturer.
* The Fayoum University Council also approved promoting Dr. Noha
Soliman Ahmed Ali, Department of Home Economics, Faculty of Specific Education,
to the rank of Lecturer.
* The Fayoum University Council also approved promoting Dr.
Ghadeer Dardeer Afifi Khalifa, Department of Islamic Archaeology, Faculty of
Archaeology, to the rank of Lecturer.
* The Fayoum University Council also approved promoting Dr.
Yasser Mohammad Hafez Abdul-Karim, Department of Agricultural Microbiology,
Faculty of Agriculture, to the rank of Lecturer.
*The Fayoum University Council has approved
granting the following researchers their master's degrees

which is worth EGP 54000 to the University Central Printing House.
