In its session no. 19 dated June 2007, Fayoum University council presided over by Prof. Dr. Gala M. Said, president of Fayoum University approved of :

1-Second term results of university faculties will have been announced by July 15, 2007.

2- Printing a guidebook to be given to secondary school students in light of the e-assortment for joining universities, equipping 6 computer labs with 140 computers to facilitate logging on the assortment website for the students and preparing a student team work to receive the students and their parents and assist them in writing down their choices.

3- Allocating L.E 5 million for faculties and dormitories maintenance plan which ends by the beginning of the coming academic year .

4- Fayoum University Council agreed upon appointing four professors;
Dr. Adel Mahmoud Mustafa, Social Work Methods Department, Faculty of Social Work
Dr. Ali Rabee Abdel-Rahman, Animal Production Department, Faculty of Agriculture
Dr. Ramadan Abdel Aziz Madni, Plant Protection Department, Faculty of Agriculture
Dr.Seham Sayed Mohamed El Gendy, Botany department, Faculty of Agriculture
Also, the council agreed upon appointing three assistant professors;
Dr.Ayman George Awadallah, Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering
Dr. Mamdouh Ahmed Mohamed, Biochemistry Department, Faculty of Agriculture
Dr.Gamal Mahmoud Mustafa, Animal Production Department, Faculty of Agriculture
Finally, the council agreed upon appointing five lecturers;
Dr. Abdullah Mohamed Usama, Chest and Cardiac Surgery Department, Faculty of Medicine, 
Dr.Ahmed Nabil Khalef, Chest and Cardiac Surgery Department, Faculty of Medicine,
Dr. Hanan Moawed Mohamed Khalil, Botany Department, Faculty of Science.
Dr. Mahmoud Mohamed El Sufi Ali, Mathematics Department, Faculty of Science.
Dr. AmrAbdel Nabil Ibrahim Esawy, Chemistry Department, Faculty of Science.
