In its meeting No. 53 dated 28/7/2010, the Fayoum University Council, chaired by Professor Ahmed Magdy El Gohary, President of Fayoum University, approved:

-the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Fayoum University and University of Yaoundé I, Cameroon.

-Cooperation agreement concluded between the Faculty of Agriculture and the Development Research and Consultation Center (DRCC).

-the Postgraduate Statute of the Faculty of Dar Al Uloom, which follows the Credit Hour System; the Supreme Council of Universities (SCU) will be notified shortly.

-accepting transfer students from different Faculties of Nursing to the Fayoum University Faculty of Nursing along with abiding by the assigned rules and regulations in this regard.

*The Fayoum University Council approves promoting Dr. Jihan El Sayed Abdul Rahman, Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, to the rank of Professor.

* The Fayoum University Council approves promoting Dr. Abdul Moniem Abu Zayd, Department of Literature, Faculty of Dar Al Uloom, to the rank of Professor.

* The Fayoum University Council approves promoting Dr. Ahmed Abdul Aziz Bakoush, Department of Linguistics, Faculty of Dar Al Uloom, to the rank of Assistant Professor.

* The Fayoum University Council approves promoting Dr. Ashraf Shawky Othman, Department of Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture, to the rank of Assistant Professor.

* The Fayoum University Council approves promoting Dr. Ibrahim Sobhy El Sayed Ghandar, Department of Islamic Archaeology, Faculty of Archaeology, to the rank of Assistant Professor.

* The Fayoum University Council approves promoting Dr. Ahmad Mahmoud Mohammad Amin, Department of Islamic Archaeology, Faculty of Archaeology, to the rank of Lecturer.

* The Fayoum University Council approves promoting Dr. Abeer Hassan Mustafa Allam, Department of Fields of Social Work, Faculty of Social Work, to the rank of Lecturer.

* The Fayoum University Council approves promoting Dr. Farghal Makram Tony Farghaly, Department of Linguistics, Faculty of Dar Al Uloom, to the rank of Lecturer.

* The Fayoum University Council approves promoting Dr. Mohammad Shadid Hassan Gaderab, Department of Hotel Studies, Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, to the rank of Lecturer.

* The Fayoum University Council approves promoting Dr. Sherif Eid Nasr, Department of Engineering Physics and Mathematics, Faculty of Engineering, to the rank of Lecturer.

* The Fayoum University Council approves promoting Dr. Yusuf Gomaa Yusuf, Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, to the rank of Lecturer.

* The Fayoum University Council approves promoting Dr. Ahmad Mohammad Nabil Mohib, Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, to the rank of Lecturer.

* The Fayoum University Council approves promoting Dr. Soha Mohammad Yusuf Hassan, Department of Home Economics, Faculty of specific Education, to the rank of Lecturer.

* The Fayoum University Council approves promoting Dr. Fatma Naguib El Sayed Ali, Department of Curriculum and Methodology, Faculty of Education, to the rank of Lecturer.

* The Fayoum University Council approves promoting Dr. Azza Fawzy Abdul Hafiz, Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, to the rank of Lecturer.

*The Fayoum University Council approved accepting the donation offered by The Misr Fayoum Company for Tourism Investment in the form of a cheque of 50000 Egyptian Pounds. This sum of money is offered to both the Social Solidarity Fund and the Unit of Psychological Diseases at the Faculty of Early Childhood Education.
