The Embassy of the United States of America in Cairo
is holding a workshop at Fayoum University on Teaching Legal English.
Translating Legal English might be touched on as a sub-topic.

The guest speaker is
Dr. Debra Lee,
who is said to be the best who has taught legal English
in the United States of America.
She will be talking about her co-authored book: American Legal English: Using Language in Legal Contexts (The University of Michigan Press, 1999-2007).

Free copies of the book and the used materials will be available for participants.

The workshop will be held in October, 2010.
