The Hall of Faculty of Agriculture Council hosted the monthly meeting of the network members of the Research Development and Innovation Program "RDI Network". The meeting was presided over by Dr. Yasser El Shayeb, Head of RDI Network of Focal Points. The meeting was attended by representatives of all Egyptian universities and research centers.
It is worth mentioning that Fayoum University was selected to be the venue of the RDI's meeting in support of the many research proposals submitted by the university.
The meeting tackled the problems that may face the members of the teaching staff when submitting the research proposals and the conditions that must be available at the time of writing these proposals.
Dr. Yasser El Shayeb noted that the success rate of the proposals submitted by Egypt is low compared to the proposals submitted by the countries of Morocco, Jordan, Tunisia, for failure to comply with some fundamental aspects in proposal writing. He accentuated the importance of broadening knowledge of how to write a proposal.
