A Workshop on "How to Use your University E-Mail"

The Administration of the Fayoum University Website organized a workshop on "How to Use your University E-Mail" to illustrate how to use and access it. The workshop also addressed the problems facing students and how to solve them.

Dr. Wael al-Dahshoory, director of the Fayoum University Website, lectured at the workshop, showing the importance of the university e-mail, its advantages and benefits, how to use it in our daily life, differences between the university e-mail and the common e-mails, who has the right to get an e-mail account, how to get it, services offered by the university via its e-mail, and how to activate it.

On Tuesday 23/3/2010, a workshop was held at the premises of the Faculty of Social Work, in the presence of Professor Khalil Abdul-Maksoud, professor at Department of Development and Planning. A large number of students were present, too. Also, on Monday 29/3/2010, a workshop was held for the students of faculties of Agriculture and Science. The workshop featured the presence of Professor Ali Mohammad Abed, vice-dean of Faculty of Agriculture for Education and Students, as well as a large gathering of students.

Furthermore, there was a discussion with students about the validity of e-mail, whether the student can communicate with colleagues and faculty through this mail after graduation, how to activate the e-mail and change the password, and whether the email account is changed every year.
