In order to disseminate information about the Fayoum University E-mail Service, the Administration of the Fayoum University Website organized on Wednesday 28/4/2010 a workshop on "How to Use the University E-Mail" at the premises of Faculty of Tourism and Hotels. A number of high-profile figures were present. Attendees included Professor Mohammad Abdul-Wahab, vice-dean for Education and Students, and Dr. Mohammad Ali Ahmad, an assistant lecturer at Department of Tourism Studies. A large crowd of students was present, too.

Dr. Wael al-Dahshoory, Administrator of Fayoum University Website, lectured at the workshop, highlighting the importance of the university e-mail, its advantages and benefits, how to use it in daily life, differences between the university e-mail and the common e-mails, who has the right to get an e-mail account, how to get it, services offered by the university via its e-mail, and how to activate it.

Furthermore, there was a discussion with students around how to use the university e-mail when there are scholarships available, and whether the student can communicate with colleagues and faculty through it.
