A Workshop on "How to Use your University E-mail" at Faculty of Science In order to disseminate information about the Fayoum University E-mail Service, the Administration of the Fayoum University Website organized on Thursday 29/4/2010 a workshop on "How to Use the University E-Mail" at the premises of Faculty of Science. A number of high-profile figures were present. Attendees included Professor Ahmed Gaber Shedid , vice-dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Nady Hashem, an assistant lecturer at Department of Chemistry. A large crowd of students was present, too. Dr. Wael al-Dahshoory, Administrator of Fayoum University Website, lectured at the workshop, highlighting the importance of the university e-mail, its advantages and benefits, how to use it in daily life, differences between the university e-mail and the common e-mails, who has the right to get an e-mail account, how to get it, services offered by the university via its e-mail, and how to activate it. Furthermore, there was a discussion with students around how to use the university e-mail and whether the student can communicate with colleagues and faculty through it.
