In collaboration with the USA, Faculty of Agriculture is to hold the 1st workshop and training course on applications of Bioinformatics and Molecular Biology from January 10 to January 21, 2009. The workshop is sponsored by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Magdy El Gohary, President of Fayoum University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim El Khaleely, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Samir Seif Al Yazzal, Dean of Faculty of Agriculture and Prof. Dr. Sanaa Haroon, Course Secretary-General and Director of Nematology and Biotechnology Unit, Faculty of Agriculture,
Fayoum University.

-Fundamentals of molecular biology
-Practical practices in the field of molecular biology, bioinformatics, and tissue culture, and their uses in genetic engineering
