| Under the patronage of Professor Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, and the supervision of Professor Sherif El-Attar, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, students from the Faculty of Dentistry at Fayoum University achieved advanced positions in the IDEX Cup competition. The competition is part of the largest dental exhibition and conference in Egypt and Africa, IDEX Egypt 2025, which was held at the Cairo International Convention Center in Nasr City from August 7 to 9, 2025.

| Prof. Lamia Ibrahim, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, stated that IDEX Egypt 2025 will feature a variety of events, including the IDEX Cup, a competition for dental teams that aims to provide a platform for competition and scientific exchange.

| Prof. Maha Al-Qurashi, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs at the Faculty of Dentistry, added that the faculty's students achieved advanced rankings among 35 Egyptian universities, achieving third place collectively and first place individually in pediatric dentistry, and first place individually in oral medicine and periodontal therapy. |
