 University President meets with dental medicine students |

| President of Fayoum University Professor Abdel Hamid Abdel Tawab Sabry held a meeting with students of the Fayoum Faculty of Dental Medicine on Tuesday, October 3, 2012. The meeting was attended by Professor Mohammad Bahaa, Dean of the Faculty of Dental Medicine, Professor Ahmed Gaber Shedid, Dean of the Faculty of Science, and Mr. Saleh Gomaa, University Secretary-general. In his address, the University President welcomed the fresh students, wishing them success. He also highlighted the role of the university in creating a generation of employable graduates imbued with the required skills. He, moreover, urged students to take part in all activities organized by the university. Addressing the new students, he said: "Within the few coming days, there will be a complete team of faculty members and classes will start normally. We also do our best to provide the facilities needed to help you start a new academic life. There will be residence places for students who come from other governorates." Furthermore, he pointed out that a hospital for dental medicine, adjacent to the building of the new faculty of medicine, would be established within two years' time. |
