Under the executive program signed between Egypt and Belgium, the Central Administration for Missions and Cultural Representation, the Cultural Affairs & Missions Sector of the Ministry of Higher Education, announces the availability of a good number of scholarships for the purpose of collecting scientific material for PhD degree in Belgium for the academic year 2010/2011 in the following disciplines (medicine – genetic engineering – sciences – agriculture).
Duration: 10 months
Eligibility
Applicants must be nationals of, and residing in Egypt;
Not being older than 35 years;
Demonstrating a professional occupation as an assistant lecturer or an assistant researcher at a public university or a research center for at least two years;
Having registered for a PhD.
Candidates must be fluent in English (Spoken and Written), along with submitting a TOEFL score of 500.
Merits
€ 840 as a monthly stipend;
€ 540 as registration fees (to be given only one time);
Health insurance in accordance with Belgian law.
The scholarship does not bear the costs of travel.
Selected fellows will be treated financially on an equal footing as members of missions.

Letter of Nomination from your institution –temporarily- until passing the personal interview.

Detailed presentation of the program of work.
Approval of a Belgian university in which the candidate wishes to study.
