 Scholarships to study in Greece |
The Cultural Affairs and Missions Sector, Ministry of Higher Education, announces that the Hellenic Republic Ministry of Foreign Affairs invites applications for Scholarships for Postgraduate Studies for the academic year 2010/2011 to study at the Greek educational institutions.
Duration: Up to three ( 3 ) years, ( i.e. one ( 1 ) year for the acquisition of the Greek Language and two ( 2 ) years MA. / M.Sc.
A. FINANCIAL BENEFITS
-€ 1000 for covering transportation expenses
-A monthly allowance of € 566
-Free meals
-Free medical care in public hospitals
-Exemption from tuition fees
B. DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED
Applicants should submit the following documents:
1. An application form
2. Transcripts of previous University studies and certified copies of their degrees.
3. An official certificate indicating the excellent knowledge of Greek (if applicable).
4- An approval from a Greek higher educational institution indicating his being accepted at postgraduate or doctoral studies there.
4. A curriculum vitae.
5. Validated photocopy of the passport.
7. A recent photograph.
8- Two Letters of Recommendation
9- Birth Certificate
Note:
The holder of the scholarship will be deprived of his scholarship in any of the following cases. If :
a) A false statement has been made on his application dossier. b) He does not comply with the terms and conditions of the scholarship.
C. HOW TO APPLY:
-Application form along with supporting documents must be submitted to the Embassy of Greece in Cairo at
18 Aisha El Taymouria Garden City.
