The Government of the Sultanate of Oman invites applications for its five tuition-free scholarships. Moreover, students will be granted a monthly stipend of 200 OMR as well as travel tickets.

Available Areas of Study

Engineering – Information Technology (IT) – Applied Sciences – Business Studies

Eligibility

-Having obtained the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) with a percentage of 70%.

- A recently issued certificate for the academic year 2009/2010 (for applied sciences specifically)

-Having studied the following courses:

-Engineering: "Pure Mathematics – Physics – Chemistry"        

-IT: "Pure Mathematics – Physics – English Language"

-Applied Sciences: "Pure Mathematics – Physics – Chemistry – Biology"

- Business Studies: "Pure or Basic or Applied Mathematics – English Language – History or Geography"

*General Notes:

1-Language of instruction is English.

2-Duration of study is five academic years including the preliminary year.

3-Acommodation is available for female students.

4-Students will be granted an academic year to achieve proficiency in English through obtaining a score of 4.5 in IELTS. If not, he will be given another opportunity to realize this requirement at his own expenses
