*The Egypt Award for Government Excellence Announces the Results of the 1st Edition of Fayoum University Award for Internal Excellence           *Prof. Hatata Inaugurates the 53rd University Teacher Preparation Course           *The Closing of the Training Course in Cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA(      *Continuation of the Leadership Preparation Camp Activities at the University Colleges' Level      *Appointment of Prof. Hany Abdel Badie as Dean of Faculty of Specific Education        NEWS     Faculty of Agriculture: New Department Heads Elected     9-Sep-2012     The Elections Committee supervising the elections of heads of departments of the Faculty of Agriculture declared that Prof. Tolba Saleh Abdel-Al was elected head of the Department of Soils and Water after getting 14.96 votes, about 56.66%, while his contender Prof. Ehab Abdel Halim Al Sayyad got 11.44 votes, and the third contender Prof. Atef Abdel Tawab got no votes. As for the Department of Plant Protection, the Elections Committee stated that Prof. Fatma Mohammad Ibrahim was chosen its new head after garnering 11.23 votes. She won the elections against Prof. Seham Sayed Mohammad, who got 3.23 votes, and Prof. Makram Ahmed Mohammad, who got 5.35 votes. As for the Department of Dairy Science, Prof. Mahmoud Abdel Halim Gad was chosen its new head by acclamation, the Elections Committee declared.
