| On Wednesday, 06/10/2015, Prof. Fred Awad Haider, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Faculty of Education delivered a lecture entitled "The role of the community service and Environmental Development sector". It was presented at the event of the 24th university teacher Preparation course during the period from 8 – 6-2015 till 16.6.2015. Thirty three members of university teaching staff participated in the course. |
| In his opening remarks, the vice president expressed his appreciation to the role of the community service sector in developing university and civil community services. Thirty one special units and eight centers at the university have a great contribution in developing the human resources. |
| The lecture ended with an open discussion for more suggestions to enhance the role of the sector. |
