| Professor Ahmed El Gohary, President of Fayoum University, received on Monday, May 30 the Cultural Advisor of the American Embassy in Egypt who was visiting Fayoum Campus on an assessment mission of the Service Learning Project. The Cultural Advisor was accompanied by Professor Talaat Shahata, representative of Maryland University and Mr. Ahmed Samy, Cultural Coordinator at the American Embassy in Egypt. The visit aimed to assess the outputs of the Service Learning Project at the university faculties. For this objective, the delegation paid a visit to the Faculty of Education where they met with the Learning Service Team. During the meeting, trainees – including faculty, teaching assistants and teachers – presented their proposed projects. Both Professor Ragaa Ahmed, Dean of Faculty of Education and Professor Huda Tawfik, Dean of Faculty of Social Work, attended the meeting. |
