| Board of Community Service and Environmental Development Sector (CSEDS) presided over by Prof. Dr. Abdel Hamid Abdel Tawab, held its session no. 29 at Council Hall of Faculty of Engineering on Monday 18/5/2009. The session tackled the various activities - seminars and ceremonies - executed by the CSEDS over the last years. It is worth mentioning that the CSEDS plays a great role in enriching the cultural life at the university via hosting a group of scholars and literati of society. Prof. Dr. Abdel Hamid Abdel Tawab said, "The role of the university is not simply to teach the students but it also bears the responsibility of cultivating the community and instilling ethics; this is reflected in holding seminars and conferences to give students more knowledge about life and Egypt." |
