| Professor Hazem Attia, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, witnessed the activities of the Public Service Deay conducted on April 6th, 2012. In addition to a big throng of students, the event was attended by Mr. Ezzat Mahmoud Tolba, director of Youth Welfare, and Mr. Khaled Mohammad Hussein, a social specialist. After being divided into cohorts, students worked cooperatively to carry out their assignments. Each group was tasked to do a certain activity, such as lifting of garbage, painting the pavement opposite the building of Civil Engineering Department, putting litter bins around the faculty campus and painting them in red, black and white.
