Under the patronage of Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, and the supervision of Prof. Sherif El-Attar, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Fayoum University students achieved advanced positions in the 52nd Martyr Al-Rifai Championship, organized by the Egyptian Sports Federation for Universities and Higher Institutes for the academic year 2024/2025.

Youssef Mohamed Mustafa, a second-year student at the Faculty of Physical Education, won the silver medal in the 10,000-meter walkathon.

Ahmed Mohamed Mahmoud Ismail, a third-year student at the Faculty of Physical Education, won the bronze medal in the over-92 kg boxing competition.
