Under the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, and the supervision of Prof. Sherif El-Attar, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the General Administration of Student Welfare organized a number of activities and events to coincide with the start of the new academic year 2025/2026. The events were held on Sunday, September 21, 2025, on campus, under the supervision of Prof. Salwa Fouad, Director General of the General Administration of Student Care.

Prof. Sherif El-Attar explained that the activities included sporting events aimed at honing students' skills, in addition to holding several competitions in team and individual games.

Artistic and cultural competitions were also held in the fields of poetry, zajal, short stories, essays, and wall magazines.
|
He emphasized that the university is working to raise the intellectual and moral standards of students, build their minds, and develop their skills in various fields.
|
For her part, Mrs. Salwa Fouad explained that the activities covered the areas of social activities, scouting and public service, the families committee, scientific and technological activities, camps and trips, and student unions, with the aim of encouraging both current and new students to participate in various student activities.
