| The New and Renewable Energy Authority, in collaboration with the Supreme Council of Universities, announces an artistic competition titled "Sustainable Creativity", for expressive murals to be painted on the Authority’s external wall in the following areas:
|
| • Renewable energy
|
| • Energy efficiency improvement
|
| • Sustainability
|
| • Biodiversity and migratory bird conservation
|
| Location: Main façade of the Authority’s wall, consisting of 30 pink brick panels, each measuring 4.70m × 1.80m.
|
| Competition categories:

| • Single mural (one panel)
|
| • Sequential mural (3 panels), e.g., a story illustrating wind energy development in Egypt
|

| Competition prizes:
|
| • EGP 15,000 for the winning single mural in each category
|
| • EGP 45,000 for the winning sequential mural in each category
|
| (Full prize awarded upon successful implementation on the wall)
|
| An awards ceremony will be held to announce the results and honor the winners.
|
| Competition terms:
|
| 1. Open to all university students (public or private).
|
| 2. Work must be original and unpublished.
|
| 3. Designs must be new, relevant to the theme, and not submitted elsewhere.
|
| 4. Winning works become intellectual property of the Authority.
|
| 5. Individual or group entries (max. 5 members per group).
|
| 6. Multiple entries allowed. Designs must be submitted by 19 May 2025 to:

|
| File requirements: PNG or JPEG format, 300 DPI resolution, under 10MB.
|
| Include material specs and any previous work (if applicable).
|
| Painting must retain the brick wall joints and use weather-resistant colors.
|
| The Authority's name or logo may be incorporated in the design.
|
| 7. Winners are responsible for painting the mural (materials provided by the Authority).
|
| If unable to paint the design, the prize will be forfeited.
|
| 8. Keep original artwork for presentation if requested.
|
| 9. Submissions will be evaluated by a specialist committee based on concept and prior works.
|
| The committee may request design modifications to be implemented within two weeks.
|
| 10. Final evaluation occurs after the design is painted on the wall.
|
| Execution period: 3 weeks starting 30 July 2025
|
| Accommodation available at the Ministry of Higher Education’s Leaders Preparation Institute in Helwan (for non-Cairo residents).
|
