Closing of the “Basic Pillars of Infection Control” Course at the Faculty of Medicine

Under the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, Prof. Mohamed Farouk Al-Khabeery, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Mr. Yoshifumi Omura, Director of the Japan International Cooperation Authority in Egypt, witnessed the closing of the training course “Basic Pillars of Infection Control” organized by the University within the framework of the tripartite cooperation program between the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Japanese International Cooperation (JICA) and Fayoum University during the period from 30/10/2023 to 11/26/2023 in the conference hall of the Central Library today, Sunday, 26/11/2023 AD.
In the presence of Prof. Hamdy Ibrahim, Dean of of Medicine, Prof. Naglaa El-Sherbiny, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Rasha Basyouni, Head of the Microbiology Department at the College, and a number of distinguished faculty members and trainees.
It is noteworthy that the training program included 20 trainees from the countries of Zambia, South Sudan, Kenya, Ghana and Namibia. The course was held at the Faculty of Medicine and University Hospitals, and 10 trainers from the faculty members of the Faculty of Medicine participated in the training.
At the end, certificates of passing the course were distributed to the trainees.
