Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Al-Ansary, Governor of Fayoum, Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, and Prof. Assem Al-Essawy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and under the supervision of Prof. Hamdy Mohamed Ibrahim, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Prof. Lamia Ahmed Ibrahim, Dean of Faculty of Dentistry, and Dr. Sameh Fathy Ashmawy, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, in cooperation with the Decent Life Foundation, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, and the Rotary Royal Assembly Association, organized a comprehensive convoy.

This was in the presence of Prof. Al-Shaimaa Ahmed, Vice dean of Faculty of Dentistry for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Mrs. Suzan Abdel Qader, General Director of the General Administration of Community Service, Dr. Nevin Shaaban Ahmed, Director of the Basic Care Department at the Fayoum Health Directorate, and Dr. Vera Ishaq, coordinator of the 100 Days of Health initiative, today, Sunday, 3/12/2023, at the health unit headquarters in Zaid Village, Abshway Center.

Prof. Assem Al-Essawy stated that the medical convoy succeeded in providing medical examination and treatment for 850 cases, as 160 cases were examined in the orthopedic specialty, 42 dental cases, 130 internal medicine cases, 105 nose and ear cases, 150 children, 68 women’s cases, 60 dermatology cases, and 90 cases of ophthalmia, and 50 cases of malnutrition.

He added that on the occasion of the onset of winter, during the convoy, a number of blankets were distributed to a number of widowed women who have orphaned children, and the most needy residents of the village of Zaid in the Ibshway Center.
