Fayoum University Obtains First Place in Oil Painting in the First Student Activities Festival for Egyptian University Students

Under the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, and the supervision of Prof. Mohamed Farouk Al-Khabeery, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Mrs. Lamia Kassab, General Director of the Youth Welfare Department, Fayoum University concluded its participation in the first Student Activities Festival for Egyptian university students, which is organized by Suez Canal University, in cooperation with the Student Activities Sector of the Ministry of Higher Education and the Leadership Development Institute, under the slogan “Free and Safe Egypt,” in which about 500 male and female students from 29 universities participated during the period from the 20th to the 25th of this month at the Suez Canal University headquarters.
Prof. Mohamed Farouk Al-Khabeery stressed that the festival was an opportunity to exchange visions, experiences, and skills, and to enhance cultural and artistic awareness and leadership skills among young people, as well as to spread team spirit, cooperation, and strengthen ties between university students.
He pointed out that Fayoum University achieved first place in oil painting, and reached the semi-finals in the five-a-side ball competition. He added that the areas of competition included sports, artistic, and social games through soccer, beach soccer, oil painting, and chess competitions.
