Fayoum University is Among the Top 7.1% Universities and Among the Top 2000 Universities in the World According to the CWUR

Under the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, and the supervision of Prof. Arafa Sabry Hassan, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Fayoum University was able to maintain its distinguished global ranking in the CWUR:
Global 2000 List by the Center for World University Rankings- CWUR
The university appeared among the top 7.1% of the 20,966 universities that were ranked, as the university ranked 1,485 in the world. It ranked 39th among African universities, and at the local level, the university ranked 12th among Egyptian public and private universities.
It is worth noting that the CWUR has been issued since 2012, which means publishing a list of the top 2,000 universities out of more than 20,000 universities in the world. It also provides consulting services to educational institutions to improve their research and academic performance.
The Ranking is based in its evaluation on 4 main indicators, which are (1) Quality of education 25%, (2) Alumni employment 25%, (3) Quality of performance of faculty members 10%, (4) Research performance performance 40% and is divided into: (a) the total number of papers, (b) the number of papers published in the top journals, (c) the number of papers published in the top journals in terms of impact, (d) the number of citations.
