Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata witnessed the celebration honoring Dr. Emad Kamal El-Din Basyouni, General Director of Faculty of Medicine, for reaching the legal retirement age on Sunday 18/8/2024 at the faculty headquarters.

In the presence of Prof. Arafa Sabry, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Assem Fouad El-Essawy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Naglaa El-Sherbiny, Acting Dean of Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Abdel Hamid Abdel Tawab Sabry, Former President of Fayoum University, Prof. Khaled El-Khashab, Former Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Ahmed Rashad, Secretary General of the University, the Vice Deans of the Faculty of Medicine, a number of former deans of the faculty, faculty members, general managers of the university, and a number of administrative staff at the faculty.

Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata thanked Dr. Emad Kamal for his great efforts in the advancement and progress of the Faculty of Medicine, as he was one of the distinguished employees of the faculty since its establishment and was distinguished by his seriousness, mastery, accuracy and follow-up in performing his work.

Prof. Arafa Sabry Hassan pointed out the keenness of the university and faculty administration to extend thanks in recognition of the great effort and long career of Dr. Emad Kamal El-Din in serving the faculty and the university.

Prof. Assem Fouad El-Essawy expressed his sincere wishes for success for Dr. Emad Kamal El-Din in his future life with his family.

In her speech, Prof. Naglaa El-Sherbiny stressed that honoring Dr. Emad Kamal El-Din today is a day of loyalty and thanks to one of the senior employees of the faculty who gave a lot and sacrificed their time and effort for the development and progress of the faculty.

Prof. Abdul Hamid Abdel Tawab said that many situations witnessed Dr. Emad Kamal El-Din's dedication and sincerity in work during the first period that witnessed the establishment of the college and the completion of its scientific and administrative cadres.

Prof. Khaled El-Khashab also confirmed that Dr. Emad Kamal El-Din is one of the beloved and helpful personalities who provides his services even without being asked to do so, praising the great experiences he possesses, and wishing that his giving and investment of his long years of experience will continue.

Mr. Ahmed Rashad said that Dr. Emad Kamal is one of the administrative leaders whose efforts the university is proud of during their work period, noting that he gained many experiences from him during their work period together at the Faculty of Medicine.

At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Emad Kamal thanked everyone who attended the ceremony, expressing his great happiness with the honor, attendance, and kind and sincere words, and thanked his family for bearing with him many of the work difficulties he faced during his professional career.

At the end of the ceremony, the President of the University presented the honor shield to Dr. Emad Kamal El-Din.
