Fayoum University Launches the Central Transfer Platform

Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, witnessed the launch of the "Central Transfer Platform at Fayoum University" in the presence of Prof. Arafa Sabry Hassan, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Assem Al-Essawy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development and Supervisor of the Education and Student Sector, Prof. Rania Abu Al-Soud, Executive Director of Projects, and a number of faculty members, directors of education and student affairs and administrators in the colleges, today, Wednesday, 21/8/2024, in the seminar hall at the Project Management Unit. Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata indicated that the launch of the central transfer platform comes within the framework of the university's serious steps in the digital transformation file into a smart digital university, through which the university seeks to provide distinguished services to students, contributing to facilitating procedures for the student and providing a more organized and advanced educational environment. Prof. Rania Abu Al-Soud said that Fayoum University is launching today a unique platform at the level of Egyptian universities, which is an electronic platform for internal and external transfers, implemented by an integrated team from the university to provide electronic services to students.
She added that the transfer platform is a new part added to the unified platform for university services, which includes a number of other platforms such as the academic guidance platform, the branching platform within departments, the medical examination platform, which is the only one at the university level, the Dark platform for university cities, the e-book and expenses platform, in addition to the platforms of the Languages and Translation Center, the Quality Assurance Center, the Solidarity and Community Service platform, and the Awards platform.
Dr. Shaimaa Youssef, Director of the Administrative Information Systems Center, also reviewed the goal of establishing the platform, the idea of which began 8 months ago to facilitate the transfer process, and contribute to providing a unique experience for students that saves time and effort and keeps pace with modern technology.
She explained the registration steps, which begin after the end of the transfer stage announced by the Ministry of Higher Education, as well as the services provided on the platform.
For his part, Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata praised the quality and ease of the service provided by the platform, and listened to the suggestions of the administrators in the Student Affairs Sector, directing them to overcome the difficulties they face in order to provide the best service to students.
