Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research Attends the Meeting of the Supreme Committee for Research Ethics

Under the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, Prof. Arafa Sabry Hassan, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, attended the meeting of the Supreme Committee for Research Ethics. The meeting was also attended by Prof. Zaher Ahmed Mohamed, Chairman of the Committee, along with esteemed committee members. It took place on Wednesday afternoon, January 22, 2025, in the meeting hall of the central library.
At the beginning of the session, Prof. Arafa Sabry welcomed the attendees and praised the committee’s role in enhancing the university’s research framework, both in terms of research quality and researcher development. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the ethical standards outlined in the Ethical Charter for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research at Fayoum University and extended his sincere appreciation to the committee members for their efforts.
The Supreme Committee for Research Ethics then held its 29th meeting. After approving the minutes of the previous meeting, the committee ratified preliminary approvals issued by the committee chairman by delegation. Additionally, the committee reviewed 27 research proposals, assigning them to subcommittees for further assessment based on the ethical standards outlined in the university’s ethical charter.
