Open Discussion with International Students

Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, held a meeting to have an open discussion with international students studying at the undergraduate, BA and postgraduate levels at the university, in the presence of Prof. Arafa Sabry Hassan, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Israa Al-Hariri, Coordinator of International Students at the University, Dr. Walid Abu Taleb, Director General of Postgraduate Studies at the University, Dr. Rahab Abdel Raouf, General Director of Education and Student Affairs at the University, and Mrs. Hala Al-Sweify, General Director of Public Relations and Media, on Monday, February 10,2025 in the conference hall of the Central Library. Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata explained that the meeting was held to identify the problems facing international students, work to solve them and facilitate the educational process for them, stressing that Fayoum University is keen to provide a distinguished educational service so that students become ambassadors for the university upon returning to their countries.
During the meeting, He listened to the students' questions, and promised to look into the obstacles they face and remove them, pointing out at the same time that there are regulations organizing the educational process that must be adhered to, and are applied to Egyptian and foreign students without discrimination.
For his part, Prof. Arafa Sabry said that Fayoum University has become one of the universities that is ranked at the Arab national level and locally, and its graduates have great competitive advantages in the labor market, and the university is constantly working to develop its educational curricula to keep pace with the ongoing developments in the local and global labor market. He stressed that the university is keen to host foreign students well and provide them with an appropriate educational environment to achieve, learn and obtain academic degrees in a distinguished manner and overcome all problems facing them, noting that Egypt always embraces students from all countries of the world.
