Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, attended the annual Iftar party for the Fayoum University family, organized by the General Administration for Youth Welfare, in cooperation with the Student Union and the Students for Egypt family. The event was attended by Prof. Arafa Sabry, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Assem Al-Essawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Sherif Al-Attar, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Mr. Ahmed Rashad, Secretary General of the University; and a number of deans, vice deans, faculty members, general managers, and students. The event was held on Wednesday, February 25, 2025, at the university campus.

Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata emphasized his eagerness to attend the annual Iftar party for the university family every year, as it is a pleasant occasion for him to meet with faculty members and students.

He noted that this occasion reflects the close connection between the university administration and students, and he urged the students to exert effort and achieve academic excellence. It's worth noting that the iftar was attended by 500 faculty members, students, and university staff. The event included a number of artistic and cultural performances, and the university president presented awards to the winners.
