Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, witnessed the closing ceremony of the 11th Forum for Ideal Students and the 4th Forum for Goodwill Ambassadors, organized by the university from February 12 to 16, 2025, under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The event was attended by Prof. Sherif El-Attar, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Rashad, Secretary-General of the University, members of the jury for the final and preliminary stages, Mr. Amr Mady, Assistant Secretary-General for Financial Affairs, and participating delegations from 21 universities. The ceremony took place on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, in the Grand Celebration Hall.

Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata praised the high level of competitiveness witnessed in the preliminary and final stages of the competition, emphasizing the university's commitment to hosting the forum annually, as it significantly contributes to building students' character and providing them with the necessary experience for work and community participation. He explained that Egypt is a young country, and its youth must be armed with knowledge, science, creative ideas, and awareness to raise their nation's flag high in the near future.

Prof. Sherif El-Attar noted that the students presented an exemplary model of discipline, creativity, positive spirit, and cooperation. All participants in the competition were distinguished by their knowledge, skills, and responsibility toward their universities and colleagues.

He called on the youth to demonstrate ambition and leadership, acquire the required experience and skills, and continue to work diligently to benefit their surrounding community.

Prof. Rushdy El-Adawy, a member of the final round's jury, spoke about the role of youth in nation-building, as they are the main pillar upon which development plans are based. He thanked Fayoum University for hosting the forum in the best possible manner.

For his part, Prof. Kamal Ghallab, a member of the preliminary round judging committee, declared that all participants in the forum were winners, having demonstrated great merit and competence during the various activities and competitions that spanned five days. He extended his thanks to the preliminary round judging committee members.

First place in the Ideal Male Student Competition went to Mohamed Hesham Sayed from Ain Shams University. Second place went to Moataz Mohamed Abdel Hamid from Alexandria University. Third place went to Nadeem Basem Mahmoud from Menoufia University. Fourth place went to Abdel Hay Ahmed Abdel Moneim from Zagazig University. Fifth place went to Mohamed Abu Al-Qasim Mohamed from Assiut University.

In the Ideal Female Student Competition, first place went to Mariam Hany Badie from Kafrelsheikh University. Second place went to Ranem Hamdan El Omda from Kafrelsheikh University. Third place went to Azza Ahmed Fath El Bab from Galala University. Fourth place went to Ferial Ahmed Abdel Rahim from Helwan University, and fifth place went to Wesal Alaa El Din Mustafa from Helwan University.

Fayoum University won first place collectively, Assiut University won second place, and Menoufia University won third place.

In the Goodwill Ambassadors Competition, Benha University won for the Greater Cairo Sector, Al-Salam University won for the Central and South Delta Sector, New Mansoura University won for the North Delta and Coast Sector, Galala University won for the Canal and Sinai Sector, Fayoum University won for the Northern Upper Egypt Sector, Assiut University won for the Central and South Upper Egypt Sector, and the Technological Institute in Tenth of Ramadan and the Higher Institute in Tagamoa won for the Ministry of Higher Education. The Tamkeen Initiative also won the Best Initiative Award, and the Special Jury Award was given to visually impaired student Nourhan Abed Anwar for her initiative "Drawing with Visualization and Imagination." The closing ceremony honored the competition's jury members, participating delegations, and organizing committee. The university's choir presented an artistic performance on the sidelines of the ceremony.
