Under the auspices of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, the Education and Student Affairs Council held its 222nd session on Monday, May 19, 2025, chaired by Prof. Sherif El-Attar, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and attended by the esteemed members of the Council.

Prof. Sherif El-Attar noted that the Council was informed of the Egyptian Survey on Student Participation in Egyptian Universities, which was presented to the Council by Prof. Wael Tobar, General Coordinator of Student Activities, the work of the Academic Advising Center at Fayoum University, and the status of preparations for the second semester exams for the 2024/2025 academic year.

The Council also discussed Faculty of Education Council Decision No. (9) dated September 16, 2024, approving the addition of new programs to the Faculty of Education programs. These programs include the General Education Mathematics Teacher Preparation Program in English, the Basic Education Mathematics Teacher Preparation Program in English, and the Science Teacher Preparation Program in English. In addition to discussing the decision of the College of Education Council No. (4) dated 16/4/2025 approving the activation of the English language special education program issued by Ministerial Resolution No. (1993) dated 27/7/2023 and the minutes of the meeting of the committee formed to review the internal regulations of the colleges dated 27/4/2025 regarding the amendments required to be reviewed in the internal regulations of the College of Languages, the amendments required to be reviewed in the internal regulations of the College of Education, the regulations for psychological preparation programs for athletes, the philosophy of media and digital content production, artificial intelligence in educational technology and sports training, and computer teacher preparation (College of Specific Education - Department of Educational Technology).
