Under the auspices of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Council held its 208th _session, chaired by Prof. Assem El-Essawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and the esteemed members of the Council, on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, in the conference hall of the Central Library.

Prof. Assem El-Essawy explained that the Council was informed of University Council Resolution No. 237 approving a proposed cooperation agreement between the Education and Student Affairs Sector (General Administration of Medical Affairs) and the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector (Center for Epidemic Control and Disease Outbreaks(.

The Council was also informed that the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector intends to organize a medical convoy for the village of Sanhour in Sanuris Center, in cooperation with the Hayat Karima Foundation and the Faculty of Medicine, during the current month.

The Council reviewed the activities of the Community Service Sector implemented through the colleges, centers, and special units. A number of proposals and cooperation protocols presented to the sector were also discussed.
