Under the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, the Council for Community Service and Environmental Development held its 210th session, chaired by Prof. Assem Fouad El-Essawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and attended by the esteemed members of the Council, on Sunday, July 20, 2025, in the conference hall of the Central Library.

Prof. Assem El-Essawy explained that the Council was informed of the necessity of providing the Office of the Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development with the proposed activity plan for the faculties, centers, and units affiliated with the Community Service Sector for the academic year 2025/2026, after its approval by the Faculty Council. This plan will then be presented to the Council at its next session for approval.

The Council was also informed of the "Be Prepared" initiative as one of the mechanisms for implementing the presidential initiative "Alliance and Development," which the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is implementing in partnership with the Education Development Fund and major international institutions. This initiative is being implemented in all employment and professional development centers at Egyptian universities.

The Council was also informed of the opinion poll conducted by the Community Problems Monitoring Unit of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector on the most pressing community issues in Fayoum Governorate.
