Under the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, Prof. Arafa Sabry Hassan, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, delivered a lecture on "Professional Ethics of the University Professor" at the Faculty of Nursing. The lecture was part of a program to raise the efficiency of teaching assistants and assistant lecturers across the university's faculties, on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. The lecture was attended by Prof. Salwa Attia, Acting Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research at the Faculty of Nursing; Prof. Sharbat Thabet, Acting Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs at the Faculty of Nursing; Prof. Nirouz Abdel Fattah, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research at the Faculty of Dentistry; Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim, Acting Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research at the Faculty of Pharmacy; and a number of department heads, faculty members, and their assistants from the Faculties of Pharmacy, Dentistry, and Nursing. Prof. Arafa Sabry explained the concept of the university teaching profession and its standards, the importance of adhering to professional ethics, and discussed the professional duties and ethical roles of university professors, as well as the fundamental themes of the university teaching profession.

He emphasized the need to cultivate a sense of belonging and the importance of institutional loyalty. The greater the sense and belief of loyalty individuals feel toward their colleges and universities, the more they will be able to achieve prosperity and the common good, which will benefit everyone with goodness and success.

At the end of the seminar, a dialogue was opened with the attendees from the three participating colleges, and their various suggestions and opinions were heard.
