Fayoum University Participates in the Akhbar Al-Youm Higher Education Exhibition

Under the patronage of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, inaugurated the "Akhbar El-Youm" Higher Education Exhibition, featuring Fayoum University. The participation is under the supervision of Prof.Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of the University, and in the presence of Prof. Sherif El-Attar, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs. The exhibition, titled "Unie Egypt," is being organized by Akhbar El-Youm Foundation, and will run from August 13 to 14, in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The event was attended by Eng. Abdel Sadek El-Shorbagy, Chairman of the National Press Authority, journalist Islam Afifi, Chairman of Akhbar El-Youm Foundation, and a number of presidents of public, private, and non-governmental universities. The event, held at the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority Hall of the Egyptian General Exhibition Authority in Nasr City, featured 75 participating universities and institutes. During the opening ceremony, Prof. Ayman Ashour praised Fayoum University's pavilion, its academic programs, and Fayoum National University, emphasizing the Ministry's continued efforts to achieve further progress in the higher education and scientific research system in Egypt. This will achieve its leadership in the Arab region and Africa and preserve its prestigious position in global academic and research circles.
Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata emphasized that the exhibition is a good opportunity for students and parents to learn about the academic programs available at Fayoum University, its specializations, tuition fees, and its distinctive features. It is also an opportunity to promote Fayoum National University's programs, including the faculties of Engineering, Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Science, Computers and Artificial Intelligence, Languages, and Humanities. These programs are aligned with the needs and requirements of the labor market and future jobs, as well as interdisciplinary programs that allow integration with more than one major, giving students the freedom to choose whichever one they choose based on their interests, aptitudes, capabilities, and geographic location.
He explained that the exhibition contributes to highlighting the boom in the higher education system and the capabilities it now possesses, which work to attract international students and reduce student demand for study abroad, especially with the introduction of modern study programs that keep pace with labor market requirements.
During the visit of Prof. Ayman Ashour, at the Fayoum University Exhibition Pavilion, Prof. Sherif El-Attar gave a presentation on Fayoum University's distinguished programs and specializations. These programs include:
Faculty of Engineering: Mechatronics Engineering Program, Construction Engineering and Project Management Program, Sustainable Architecture Technology Program.
Faculty of Pharmacy: Clinical Pharmacy.
Faculty of Early Childhood Education: Preparing Kindergarten Teachers in English, Early Childhood Educational Media Program.
Faculty of Tourism and Hotels: Bachelor's Program in Tourism and Hotels, Environmental Tourism Guidance Program.
Faculty of Arts: Geography and Geomatics Program.
Faculty of Sports Sciences: Physical Education Teacher Preparation Program in English.
Joint Program between the Faculties of Tourism and Sports Sciences: Bachelor's Program in Sports Tourism Management.
Faculty of Agriculture: Biotechnology Program.
Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence: Artificial Intelligence Program, and Bioinformatics Program.
The meeting also reviewed the achievements made, the availability of modern programs and specializations that keep pace with the needs of the labor market, and the improvement of the quality of the educational process and progress in international rankings. The faculties of Fayoum National University, which will begin classes this year, were also reviewed.
