Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, witnessed the opening session of the 53rd University Teacher Preparation Course, which will continue from August 17, 2025 to August 21, 2025. The session was attended by Prof. Arafa Sabry Hassan, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Assem Al-Essawy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Sherif Al-Attar, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Amal Gomaa, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Ahmed Ali, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and a number of faculty members. The event was held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the Faculty of Education.

Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata emphasized that the University Teacher Preparation Course is one of the most important courses Fayoum University attaches great importance to, given its significant role in developing the capabilities of faculty members. He expressed his hope that the course will achieve its desired results and that the necessary efforts will be made to advance and develop it, especially since it features a selection of distinguished lecturers.

Prof. Arafa Sabry praised the important role played by the Faculty of Education in organizing university teacher preparation courses on an ongoing basis, which provides an opportunity to exchange experiences and work to develop the competence and capabilities of university teachers.

He also explained that the course includes lectures related to educational work and digital transformation, addressing the objectives, fields, and importance of scientific research.

Prof. Assem El-Essawy also noted that the course allows participants to learn about the university's capabilities and its role in developing society and serving the environment.

Prof. Sherif El-Attar emphasized that the University Teacher Preparation Course is one of the most important courses, addressing everything related to training, teaching methods, and the university obligations of faculty members. Prof. Amal Gomaa continued that the course aims to introduce the university and recognize the central role of higher education. Prof. Ahmed Ali also emphasized the university's important role as a beacon of society and a source of knowledge. He explained that the course includes several lectures, including: the university and the Fayoum environment community, university obligations for faculty members, the basics of building and developing university curricula, total quality management and institutional accreditation, the automation of assessment systems, university student psychology, scientific research and its importance, and teaching strategies at the undergraduate level.
