Under the patronage of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, Prof. Sherif El-Attar, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, attended the closing ceremony of Enactus Fayoum Season 2025. The ceremony was attended by Prof. Wael Tobar, Coordinator of Student Activities at the University and Academic Supervisor of the team. The ceremony took place on Monday, September 8, 2025, at the Central Library.

Prof. Sherif El-Attar praised the spirit of cooperation and dedication among the team members, reflecting the elements of teamwork they demonstrate. He commended the team's efforts, fair competition, and advanced scientific thinking, as well as its presentation of innovative ideas that benefit society and advance its development. He wished all team members success. Prof. Wael Tobar also explained that the Enactus Fayoum team won first place among 42 universities in the Schneider Global Battery Challenge, within the framework of using clean energy for projects that benefit society. The Cool Cycle project, a solar-powered refrigerator, combines renewable energy with Internet of Things (IoT) technology to monitor real-time performance and record data. This makes it an effective solution for protecting vaccinations and medicines, enhancing the ability of medical staff to provide fair and safe healthcare in rural areas, and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 10 tons annually.

He noted that the team has been present at the university since 2010 and has graduated 4,000 entrepreneurs over the past years.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Prof. Sherif El-Attar and Prof. Wael Tobar honored the team members.
