The Council for Postgraduate Studies, Cultural Relations, and Research held its (220th) session, chaired by Prof. Arafa Sabry Hassan, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies, Cultural Relations, and Research, under the auspices of Prof. Yasser Magdy Hatata, President of Fayoum University, and attended by the esteemed members of the Council, on Monday, October 13, 2025, in the conference hall of the Central Library.

Prof. Arafa Sabry indicated that the Council had approved the registration of a number of academic degrees, including (31) Master's degrees and (27) Doctorates, in the university's various faculties and institutes. It also approved the accreditation of the Guide for International Students for Postgraduate Studies and Research at the university, as well as some amendments to the Postgraduate Studies Regulations based on the credit hour system at the Faculty of Agriculture, recommended by the subcommittee formed by the Agricultural Studies Sector Committee. The Council also discussed the topics included on the agenda.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the Council members honored Prof. Dr. Arafa Sabry, in appreciation of his distinguished efforts in developing the Postgraduate studies and research sector, advancing scientific research, strengthening the university's standing in local and regional academic forums, and contributing to its progress and excellence in international university rankings.
